Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP)
The Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP) is an enterprise-class Kubernetes solution that is quick to set up, easy to use and empowers organizations to accelerate application development without vendor lock-in. As part of the Nutanix Cloud Platform (NCP), NKP provides a common platform for both virtual machines and containers - across data centers, public clouds and edge environments - with unified policies for security, operations, management and storage.
NKP enables a hybrid and multi-cloud Kubernetes deployment, where users can manage different environments from one central console. This reduces operational costs and simplifies management through automated deployment and lifecycle management. The platform also supports DevSecOps at a high level of security, with features such as pre-scanned releases, installation packages, SSO, centralized RBAC, multi-tenancy, VPC integration, network policies, encrypted communication and anomaly detection.
Features also include automated lifecycle management for Kubernetes clusters and underlying infrastructure, enhanced user support, and a built-in private container registry (Harbor).
